Explanation
かもしれない after a plain form says something is possible but not certain: 雨が ふるかもしれない “it might rain”. With nouns and na-adjectives, attach it directly (病気かもしれない). More uncertain than でしょう.
Examples
あしたは 雨が ふるかもしれません。
It might rain tomorrow.
かれは もう 帰ったかもしれない。
He may have already gone home.
